Ring Sizing Guide: Finding Your Perfect Fit

Since every piece from Carat Labs is made-to-order and all sales are final, accurately confirming your size before ordering is essential. We strongly recommend visiting a professional jeweler to have your finger measured accurately.

  • You can download our printable sizing tool here and measure your ring size following the instruction. Carat Labs is not responsible for sizing errors resulting from its use.

    • Preparation: Ensure your printer is set to 100% scale (do not use "Fit to Page"). Place a ruler against the printed guide to confirm the scale is correct before use.

    • Method: Place a ring you currently own over the circles on the guide until the inside circumference of your ring perfectly matches one of the circles.

  • Another reliable way to determine your size is by visiting reputable local jewelers. Professional measurements eliminate common errors.

    • Request: Ask them to measure your finger using a standard, narrow metal sizing band.

    • Time of Day: Measure your finger at the end of the day when your fingers are usually at their largest due to temperature and activity.

    • Band Width: If the ring you plan to purchase is wider than 3mm, ask the jeweler to use a wider sizing band, as wider rings typically require a half-size larger for a comfortable fit.

Instructions for Flexible Bracelets

  • Measure Wrist:
Use a flexible measuring tape or a non-stretchy piece of string to measure the circumference of your wrist just below the wrist bone (where you typically wear a watch).

  • Determine Fit:

For a snug fit, add 0.5 inches to your wrist measurement.

For a comfortable, loose fit, add 0.75 to 1 inch to your measurement.

Necklace Length Guide

Since every piece from Carat Labs is made-to-order and all sales are final, accurately confirming your size before ordering is essential. We strongly recommend visiting a professional jeweler to have your finger measured accurately.

Understanding where a necklace falls on your body ensures the design showcases perfectly.

  • 16 Inches (Choker/Collarbone): Sits high, usually close to the neck or at the very base of the throat. Ideal for small pendants.

  • 18 Inches (Standard): The most common length, resting elegantly on the collarbone. Perfect for displaying pendants.

  • 20 Inches (Mid-Chest): Falls a few inches below the collarbone. Great for high necklines or layered looks.

  • 24 Inches (Long): Falls around the center of the bust. Ideal for statement pieces and over sweaters.

Pro-Tip: To visualize the exact drop, take a piece of string and loop it around your neck to the desired length, then measure the string against a ruler.
